The Road to $25K implements a Promotion and Relegation System that connects Divisions 1 through Open. This structure incentivizes performance, fosters competitive balance, and provides a clear, merit-based pathway for teams to rise or fall based on results.

Promotion 🏆⬆️🥇 #
At the conclusion of each season:
- 🥇 Teams that win their division will receive automatic promotion to the next highest division.
- 🎯 The second promotion spot in each division will be determined via a playoff among the next highest-ranked teams.
- 🔼 The top 2 teams from Division 3 will be promoted to Division 2
- 🔼 The top 2 teams from Division 2 will be promoted to Division 1
- 🔼 The top 2 teams from the Open Division will be promoted to Division 3
- 📊 In the event of a tie in standings, official tie-breaking procedures will apply (see: Tiebreakers section)
Relegation 📉⚠️🔽 #
Also at season’s end:
- 🔽 The bottom 2 teams in Division 1 will be relegated to Division 2
- 🔽 The bottom 2 teams in Division 2 will be relegated to Division 3
- 🔽 The bottom 2 teams in Division 3 will be relegated to the Open Division
- ❌ Teams that forfeit multiple matches or fail to meet minimum game requirements may also be subject to relegation regardless of standings

Qualification #
- ✅ Teams must have played at least 12 games in the current season of Road to $25K to be eligible for playoffs.

Playoff Format #
- 🔢 Teams ranked #2–#6 from each division qualify for the playoffs
- 🎮 #4 vs #5 Play-In Game (Best of 1)
- 🏆 Semi-Final and Final matchups are played as Best of 3 series
Administrative Rights 🛠️📋⚖️ #
- ⚖️ The League reserves the right to adjust promotion and relegation totals based on participation levels, competitive fairness, or season integrity.
- 📝 In cases of disqualification, midseason withdrawal, or division restructuring, League Admins may exercise discretion in reassigning team placement.

🚫 No appeals will be granted after final standings are published unless an administrative error is confirmed
📨 Teams must submit game results on time (see: Game Outcome Reporting)
📈 Final promotion and relegation outcomes will be based on official standings released at the season’s end
