Attribute | Description |

Close Shot | Ability to shoot when standing still, including post shooks, out to 10 feet from the basket. Is also use to determine the ability to make standing alley-oop and putback layup attempts |
Driving Layup | Ability to successfully complete all types of layup attempts while moving towards the basket |
Driving Dunk | Ability to successfully complete regular, contact, alley-oop and putback dunk attempts while moving towards the basket |
Standing Dunk | Ability to successfully complete regular, contact, alley-oop and putback dunk attempts while standing under the basket |
Post Control | Helps determine success when performing all types of moves from post position. Used along with strength and size to determine the ability to back down a defender |
Midrange | Ability to make shots of all types from mid-range distance, including shots from the post. |
3 Pointer | Ability to make shots of all types from three-point distance |
Free Throw | Ability to successfully make free throw shot attempts |
Passing Accuracy | Ability to throw the ball on target in all types of passing situations, such as bounce, chest, lob, overhead, flashy and alley-oop passes |
Ball Handle | Determines skill while dribbling the ball, both in terms of moves allowed and securing the ball from steal attempts |
Speed w/ Ball | Affects how fast the player can run or sprint around the court without the ball. |
Interior Defense | Ability to defend the paint both on and off the ball, as well as contest shots near the rim |
Perimeter Defense | Ability to defend the perimeter both on and off the ball, as well as contest shots from outside |
Steal | Ability to intercept or deflect passes and steal the ball from opposing ball-handlers in all situations |
Block | Determines the chance to successfuly block shots of all types |
Off Reb | Ability to grab Offensive rebounds. Along with vertical, unlocks rebound content to reach the ball more easily on missed shots. Helps determine ability to box out or navigate around box outs |
Def Reb | Ability to grab Defensive rebounds. Along with vertical, unlocks rebound content to reach the ball more easily on missed shots. Helps determine ability to box out or navigate around box outs |
Speed | Affects how fast the player can run or sprint around the court |
Agility | Without the ball, affects how fast the player can accelerate, move in short bursts, and move laterally. |
Strength | Determines who wins a contact battle offensively and defensively, and helps dictate how successful a player will be when backing down or being backed down in the post, both with and without the ball |
Vertical | Used as a gate for dunk animations, and in combination with attribute counterparts, allows a player to jump higher on rebounds and blocks |
Stamina | Affects how quickly a player loses energy and fatigues while running, sprinting, taking contact and performing various moves on the court |

Break Starter | After grabbing a defensive board, deep outlet passes made up the court are more accurate. Passes must be made quickly following the defensive rebound |
Dimer | When in the half-court, passes by Dimers to open shooters yield a shot percentage boost |
Handles for Days | A player takes less of an energy hit when performing consecutive dribble moves, allowing them to chain together combos quicker and for longer periods of time |
Lightning Launch | Speeds up launches when attacking from the perimeter. |
Strong Handle | Reduces the likelihood of being bothered by defenders when dribbling. |
Unpluckable | Defenders have a tougher time poking the ball free with their steal attempts |
Versatile Visionary | Improves a player's ability to thread and fit tight passes, including alley-oops, quickly and on time. |

Off Ball Pest | Makes players more difficult to get past when playing off-ball, as the can grab and hold their matchup and don't get their ankles broken as often |
Paint Patroller | Increases a player's ability to block or contest shots at the rim. |
Pick Dodger | Improves a player's ability to navigate through and around screens while on defense. At the Hall of Fame level, can blow through screens in the park or blacktop |
Post Lockdown | Strengthens a player's ability to effectively defend moves in the post, with an increased chance at stripping the opponent |
